This dataset is part of the assessment and mapping of foreshore value, condition and pressure in the Southern Natural Resource Management (NRM) Region of Tasmania. The 17 line maps produced in this study are intended to be used as a tool to assist managers and stakeholders in the identification of management issues with regards to foreshore planning, development, and natural resources.

Laser light instrument flown in aircraft to provide detailed height data to generate topographic maps of Tasmania's coastline with 25cm contours up to 10 m above sea level. Useful for identifying coastal areas vulnerable to sea level rise.

The Natural Values Atlas is Tasmaniaís comprehensive database for flora and fauna information including threatened species. Registration is free and is required to use the service.
